ROI or Return on Investment

You should always always measure the ROI (return on investment) of any of your marketing efforts.
If you are spending 2 cents on a marketing idea that returns you 4 cents in profit you would have to say it is worthwhile, if you are spending 4 cents on your marketing effort and getting back 2 cents you may need to re-evaluate your efforts.
